Mine (my second Xi3650 actually) overheats as well, especially when I don't have the throttling on, making the graphics driver crash and/or giving me BSoD/rebooting. I'll be sending it back on the money-back guarantee.
Im thinking of buying an xi 3650 as a desktop replacement, but from looking around this forum it seems there are a lot of complaints about overheating / the fan not working well enough. Is it just a few instances of this problem, or are all xi 3650s doomed to have overheating issues? can anyone confirm that their xi 3650 can run at reasonable temperatures whilst gaming (sub 80 celsius)?
hi my xi 3650 run very well temp are stable fan work normally and turn slower on silent mode ( t9400 cpu multiplier from 9.5 down to 6) normal temps are around 45 an 50°C on gaming ( gta4 - red alert 3) max temp is 68 and i never seen 70, never and never overheat (bios1.0e). i don't use any sort of cooler and i think that this is a well desktop replacement

i have cheked my gpu tems on gaming again i see 81°C im using 179.28_notebook_winvista_32bit_beta Drivers and ofcourse i disabled hybrid from bios, so when i want to save battery i downclock my gpu to 250 vram 350 shaders 750 and it is realy economic !
