[La1703] sound problem

Hello friends,

I have a La 1703 notebook . Today, when i inserted the headphone jack , the speaker didn't turn off. I don't know what's hapenning. Now i can hear the sound both in the headphones and in the speaker. Now i disturb everybody even when i use the phones. What could have gone wrong? Are there some settings that i might have accidentally changed? ( i don't remember opening anything related to the sound card, because it is working perfectly and the device manager says everything is ok)....

Thanks. I solved the problem by reinstalling Windows Xp (the system was infected with viruses)
