You didn't say which OS you were looking for.
But since F-S only support Vista and for tat reason I force myself to use that PoS (No thanks to AMD/ATi).
I can only point you to the Vista Drivers here: http://www.fujitsu-siemens.com/support/downloads.html

The Driver in "question" is the "CIR" one, the "Chip Manufacturer" is iTE, the Windows Device Manager lists this "Device" as the "ITECIR Infrared Receiver (EC PC). IIRC the iTE Website did not host these Drivers, I think I had to get that Driver (XP), from another OEM Website that had XP Drivers. There are some XP related Threads which either have links to the Drivers or Direct Links to RS Driver Packs for XP.

Has very little understood, but install cir-driver FSC_ITECIRforRemoteControl_5032_1012247.ZIP from this site (for Vista). Results - null. "The device works normally.", "Conflicts are not found." Phone & another comp isn't visible.

Did some digging by google and it would seem that CIR (or the iTECIR as it maybe), is NOT the same thing as an IrDA!

While it would seem that while IrDA can send and ~receive~ Signals, CIR (Consumer Infrared), is for Remotes ONLY, specifically Windows Media Center Remotes. So that's likely why it doesn't work.

It would seem that CIR does not an IrDA make...

So to make this as 100% clear as possible the Amilo Pi 2550 does NOT have an IrDA Port, it HAS a CIR Port which only acts as a Receiver ONLY!

Thanks! I'm understand. But: Where settings of Remote Control in Windows Media Center.
I have installed WMC, but can't find this settings (port, COM e.c.)

Looking at the downloaded Manual it seems to me that you could use a FSC RC811 (PC Express Card) Remote.
There was someone selling these on ebay for 'round 8.00€ seem like there down for the moment.

I don't know if it would be (should be), fully MCE compatible as I don't have any MCE Remotes around, the closest thing I have is an iMon Remote but I haven't had any luck pairing it w/the Pi 2550. Then again I don't think the iMon is fully MCE compatible.

Unfortunately, I do not have possibility to try RC811, but other kinds of RC have not approached. I do not think, that at work of the RC near to the computer, it would show nothing.

My understanding is that the CIR (on the Amilo Pi 2550), is a "Recieve ONLY!!" Device.
The Amilo RC811 is the Model given in the Manual which you could find on the Drivers/Manual download Page.
is a Windows (Vista), Media Center Remote, as such, I'm going to guess that it would only work with Windows (Vista), Media Center.
Which given a lack of a DVB-T (miniCard), on the Pi 2550, is in and of itself useless.

You can basically forget about trying to use this as a Data-Port as this is NOT the purpose nor the design of a CIR Port...

The name of driver is FSC_ITECIRforRemoteControl_5032_1012247. Maybe it's trouble in my Amilo (or Vista).

I'm sorry if I'm not making myself clear to you, but so that we are on the same page what did you want to do with your CIR Port again??
If it has something to do with any kind Data Transfer (e.g. IrDa), then the answer is NO think of this "Port" in the same why you'd think of the One on your TV the CIR can ONLY RECEIVE SIGNALS form (presumably [Windows] Media Center computable Remotes).

Unlike an IrDa Port this CIR CAN NOT SEND DATA! this has nothing to with the OS anymore it is a total Hardware limitation (as far as I can tell), NOTE: I don't work for F-S, and I'm not about to profess I'm not 100% sure about this but, again from the bits and pieces I picked up from google, this would seem to be the case though.

Sorry....
