[2735] xp UPgrade - install drivers here

All the xp drivers installed ok, no yellow exclamations but having problems with the LAN/WLAN.

First off WLAN will only work when you switch it on using FN+F1, i've trawled through the machine and it won't keep the default to "on", that's only really a minor thing... but the ethernet/LAN is really strange. It will work when the WLAN's turned on (only when it really wants to) and if you aren't connected to any wireless devices it will just show network cable unplugged!!

The drivers appear to be fine, I'm wondering whether its some reg fix or something strange with FSC's BIOS config or a connection manager I'm missing.. wondered if anybody else was experiencing the same problems?

Rob - drivers seem fine mate, just ridiculous that FSC don't support downgrades to XP considering how poor Vista is on performance

yeh mine needs F1/FN each time too.

i read the fsc bios flash of the machine was supposed to change this , copy below , but i did the windows flash and it didnt resolve . here is the release info :


current BIOS V. 1.05:
Solved problems:
- Change ?Wireless Device? default setting from ?Disable? to ?Enable?.
- Fix pressing F8 before entering Windows won?t show ?Advanced Boot Options?

dont know on your lan issue tho mate ? i found the driver was listed as an optional driver in xp-sp2 . when id done that it was working and the final piece in the complicated jigsaw fixed.

Hi to all!
I have a big problem with my laptop, i wanna change the OS, but, i don't find drivers . I think i go mad, from the beginning i have a lot of problems with Vista.
In january i buy a notebook, Amilo Li2735. I never like how it was configurated my sistem, my hdd is 250 Gb, the people who configured make the C: partition to big. I try to change, i change Windows Vista with another Windows Vista but i cant use programs i like, i can't play games i like coz doesent work on Vista.
Please, tell me, did u find a solution to change the drivers? I wanna put Windows Xp, but, i don-t find the drivers, and as i know, doesent exist for Amilo Li2735 Xp drivers, only for Vista.
Please, i know my English is bad, but, i hope someone can understand me and give me a solution!
