first of all excuse for my engllish, my amilo comes with 3Gb ram, 1+2Gb, what about dual channel access, it need 2 bank of the same size?

Well...this thing solved itself. The drivers for the soundcard didn´t work but when i tried to update the drivers via internet everything works fine. Strange bur nice!

right cool all good sorry on delay replying to a few people . ive jsut emailed you all ill be around now fora good few weeks to get you all up and running . it only takes 30 mins once you have xp on your machine , and it runs wayyyyyyyyyyy faster .

Hi Rod

Been battling with getting a friends Li2735 working with XP, disabled advanced SATA support in bios to enable standard XP install.
Downloaded driver pack from this thread (thank you for this) have Lan via RJ45 working fine but no sound device is detected after using the drivers supplied and more importantly no Atheros Wi-Fi even though the launcher allows the orange 'wi-fi' on light to operate.
I have two devices in 'hardware devices' in control panel/system showing a problem
1. Internet Controller
2. PCI Device
I have installed all the drivers from the pack.
Windows update didn't make a difference.

Any ideas, and is there a way to get the advanced SATA drivers working so I can turn on the function in bios.
BTW. Win XP really flies on this laptop... much better, compared to how poor it was on Vista - just unworkable.
Just need to get sound and Wi-Fi working.
