Hello,

I think you have a problem witch one of your memory modules. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315223
or you can use a tool that check your memory. http://www.memtest86.com/

I have the same problem. I am running VISTA HOME Premium with 2 gb ram. The only time I encounter the error is whe I attempt to copy large files off a network drive or attempt any large action over the network such as syncing outlook for the first time.

I ran memtest and no errors where reported. I ran windows memory checker as well and no errors were reported.

What could be the problem ??

And for me the same problem is with my Pi2540. During work with a network through a built-in network(wire) card periodic "blue screens" or complete hanging up of computer. I renewed a bios on the last and put the last driver on a network card. Now I test a computer on stability but 100% confidence that the indicated problem is related to the built-in network card, because with unplugged net cord a computer is absolutely stable..
Naturally I tested memory with the "memtest86+" - after a 12 hour's of testing no problems were exposed.

I have the same problem. My product - FS Amilo Pi 2550, Vista Home Premium, 4 GB RAM.

I tried Memtest86+ (four times) and it seems that memory is without any problem. No errors were found.

What about somebody from Fujitsu Siemens? Any idea?

I have the same problem with amilo pi2512 (both vista and xp)! I think is realtek network card failure. updated bios, tested new and old realtek drivers but when I use lan for copying files the computer stops working (no problem with atheros wifi). Any idea? ciao and sorry for my poor english

Hi all,

I have the same problem for a while. Uploading files through realtek LAN almost ALWAYS causes system crashes. I tried with XP, VISTA, UBUNTU 8.04, older and newer realtek drivers, all gave the same results. Wifi works fine in every case. Test programs don't find any problems, I tried a lot of them. Sometimes, when I have luck:) it seems as it is working well (uploading without crash), but if I switch off and turn on the computer (not a restart) again the "crash-while-uploading-feature" returns :) This is totally random and undetermined.
I think there's something wrong with the built-in realtek network adapter. If I don't use the LAN it never crashes. I bought this notebook 6 months ago but it was more than 4 months in service: bios upgrade/downgrade, Vista reinstall, motherboard switch, hdd switch, last time the wifi card was switched :) Needles to say, the problem still exists. I have no other idea than a design failure of realtek card integration by fujitsu-siemens. Has anyone tested with an external network card?
Have a nice time with testing, I have given up, I try to get my money back...
bye

Hi!
I bought a new Amilo Pi 2550 in Spain one month ago, and after first week I have the same problem, blue screen with the same message. I want to know if some of the people of this forum have solved the problem with the hardware, any of you have tried to phone to the support? Now I´m in Denmark for 1 month more, and I think that if I phone to the support here probably I will go back to Spain without my laptop. So, please, if any of you have any temporal solution to that problem, I will be so happy to read it!!
Thanks!!

I have the exactly same symptoms as Kizi (I have Pi2530). I installed the firmware hitman72 talked about but the problem remains. Has anybody else installed the firmware? Any other ideas?

I have Amilo 2540 and had the same problem.. when i was copying a biger file from network or somebody copying from me.. the computer freezed and the blue screen apeared with the NMI: Parity Error.
I contacted Fujistu siemens and they took the notebook and have changed my hard.. saying that that was the problem.. but after 2 days the same problem reapered..
So i made the firmware upgrade ...and now it works great like it should of from the begining.
So if you experience the same problem... download the image..burn on cd...and upgrade LAN firmware
