[Pi1505] Still without sound

Postby lobotomi » Mon Apr 07, 2008 11:48

I have a peculiar problem with the sound on my Amilo pi1505 system after downgrading to windows XP Pro Service Pack 3. Now, I've installed all the drivers on the support-pages without complications and the kb888111 hotfix doesn't do anything since it's on SP3.
In the device manager I see that the drivers for one PCI Device is not installed, but I don't know which drivers to use.
And the Windows Audio services are running.

Does anyone have a solution?

Hello,
you need to install Uaa driver manual, it's not integrated with sp3.
If you need the driver let me Know.

Hi',
It seems my problem is the other way round, I've upgraded from XP to Vista 32 bit and although I can get perfect sound through USB headphones I cannot get sound through the laptop speakers!. However if I revert back to XP I don't get a problem with the skeakers.

Any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Uninstall the audio driver that vista installs and try this
http://www.driversdown.com/drivers/Realtek-HD-Audio-Codecs-Driver_76418.shtml

or

Dr Music

I had a similar problem, unfortunately the Fujitsu drivers are out of date.

In my case the built n speakers worked fin with XP and also with Vista, but as Vista updated itself they ceased to function. You need to go to the Realtek website http://www.realtek.com and download the new HD AudioCodec etc Vista 3 2/64R1.91

When you run the installation it first uninstalls the old driver and rebbots the PC, then you run the installation again and it installs perfectly.
