Amilo M1425 dark screen

Is anybody having this problem? Screen just got dark and it seems like light xhutted off. However images are displayed in the darkness.

Any help highly appreciated.

i just have the same problem.
i can see the windows on the screen, the computer is working but the screen remain completly dark.
did you find any solution ? !

sounds like the lamp is broken.

I have the same problem, all of the sudden when i opende the notebook everything seemed to work properly but i couldnt see clear in the screen, no backlight. Please can u help me?
Do i have to send it for repair?
is it some sort of lamp or the inverter or i accidently tab a switch or something?
