can't open lid of new Lifebook ah530

Have just had delivered a new Lifebook ah530 but can't open it!
Is there a latch hidden away? Can't find anything in the Start Up document or in the Manual which I have downloaded.

Your likely trying to open the lid from the hinge area.

You're quite right!
The reason I did so is because the laptop name and logo is upside down.
I'm surprised many more people didn't have the same problem
