AH530 reports unknown USB device...

I have recently uninstalled Win7 on a brand new AH530 by completely deleted all partitions on the HDD with 3rd party software after backing up all data and partitions etc and managed to install XP Pro SP3 and all the device drivers apart from one that XP Device Manager and two other 3rd party progarms report as ?USB Device VID_1690 PID_0741. Most resources draw a blank when they are cross referred...

I had to disable AHCI configuration in the bios to get XP to install and wondered if this is related??? I have resorted to disabling said device which has at least stopped the Found New Hardware Wizard dialogue box appearing every time I switch the WLAN on!

Any clues anyone?

How did you installed the drivers?

Did you used the tool deskupdate to install the drivers automatically?
I recommend to use that tool which can be found on the website

Otherwise try to install the bluetooth driver.
