Shock sensor problem in W7 on Lifebook T5010

Postby Stylebook » Mon Jul 25, 2011 9:17

The shock sensor feature worked fine in Windows Vista. However, when I upgraded my T5010 to Windows 7 and installed the appropriate drivers (including system extension driver and utility files), the shock sensor program would not load. The error message was "system extension utility was not installed...".

I've tried to uninstall and re-install the system extension utility program and reinstalled the shock sensor driver several times without success.

Any idea what I could do to get the shock sensor to work? I am not aware of any incompatibility issue with Windows 7 and wonder if Fujitsu's website provides the correct files for downloading. Thanks!

Have you tried running....
http://support.ts.fujitsu.com/include/O ... Deskupdate

By the way for you out there who have replaced their harddrive with a SSD, de-install the shocksensor software!!! In the case of SSD this is not required and will slow your system.
