Fibrecat TX24 E6300 errors in ARCserve and adpu160m event 9

I have a TX24 with an IBM drive in it connected to an RX300 S2 server running Windows 2003 server (standard) SP2 32bit. The TX24 is SCSI attached via an Adaptec U160 SCSI card. The SCSI bus is correctly terminated with the terminator supplied with the TX24 and no other devices are connected on that SCSI bus.

When using Arcserve I get E6300 errors in ARCserve and adpu160m event 9 errors in the event log

Any ideas?

As we can`t identify this failure it would be great if you could open a service call therewith we can analyse your failure.

This has already been done, but support seem to be 'drawing a blank'. FSC engineers coming to site tomorrow to progress.

I just wondered if anyone else had had a similar error and had managed to correct it.
