Initialising SX80

Hi.

I have a SX80 with 5 disk of 500 Go SATA.
I'm initialise 4 disques with raid 5 and after 4 day, the initialising progress is 53 %.

The time for initialise the RAID is normal ?

I try to abort the progress, because I want to install the SX80 to the site.
It's not possible with the web interface and the CLI.

Dear Nicolas,

we would expect in this case an initialisation time of 2 days, not more.
Question is, if I/O is running in parallel. If yes, it could takes more then 2 days.

But it is possible to stop the initialisation via WEB interface.

In total it looks like, that the complete process was hanging.
If we have to analyse the situation we need the stor.logs file.
We can try to find out what the problem was, if we get som emore information on this. Please send this information to storage-pm@fujitsu-siemens.com
