I have just purchased 2 units at auction and they are both displaying the same problem.

The HDD's have been wiped and I want to install win2003std. yet on boot the f keys are not recognised, so i dont get a chance to hit f6 to install 3rd party drivers. Neither do I get a chance to hit f2 to get into the BIOS during boot. I have managed to get it to enter the bios by tricking the boot sequence with a rear fan failure, then f2 is displayed and works .

I have tried both a usb keyboard with legacy support enabled, and a std issue ps2 keyboard, all without joy

Does anyone know what the issue is and how to fix it ????

or does anyone have a copy of server start for an primergy econel 200 series 1 that they could burn a copy of

Bios area make sure "Fast Boot" is disabled.
