Li3710 Windows 7 problem when loading Office 2010

Postby HappyHammerette » Mon May 16, 2011 17:58

I have a legitimate download for Office Professional 2010 (so have the product key) but Windows 7 keeps shutting down before I can complete the download and before I can enter the product key. Its driving me nuts! Any ideas what's wrong. If you need to know I have IE8.

So its downloading and your machine just switches OFF part way through (no warning) ?
or
you machine starts to go through shutdown "windows is shutting down" message appears part way through that download ?

The message comes up that Windows has encountered a problem then it shuts down.

can you goto driver download http://www.uk.ts.fujitsu.com/support and download deskupdate Automatic driver update and run it. Scan your system and if it finds anything odd driver related it will say so - click install all.

see if it shuts down when doing this

Downloaded the deskupdate but still unable to install office 2010.

I can extract files then goes to "please wait while setup prepares the necessary files" then "setup has stopped working. A problem aused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."

Needless to say nothing from windows - this is doing my head in!

If your able to create ISo image from http://tinyurl.com/FJdiags
and run a hardware check / if the hardware is good then your software needs to be completely re-installed
