Wake Up "missing" after WHSC install on Windows 7 64 bit

Postby MikeSmith99 » Tue Sep 20, 2011 12:15

Hi, my first post ...

I'm running WHS Power Pack 3 on a SCALEO Home Server 1900.

I installed the Windows Home Server Client software (from
the "software" network share) on my brand new laptop.

(Dell Inspiron N5110 running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit
service pack 1).

Everything works great _except_ the Wake Up client did not get
installed. This means the alarm clock icon is missing from the
system tray and I have to perform manual backups.

I tried de-installing/re-installing WHSC. Same result.

I tried re-installing using the SCALEO cd disk number 1 but all
I got was an error message telling me I couldn't install
32 bit software on a 64 bit system.

Much googling has failed to come up with a solution.

Help!
