Scaleo p - urgent help required

Hello!

I have a scaleo p and it got a virus. Now it turns on but doesnt show on screen, has 1 continuos tone and the HDD light (the one which shows the hard drive is being accesed) doesnt turn on, there should be a blue ring around the power button but there is a small orange one. I tried to put the recovery disk in but that didnt do anything? It managed to turn on a few days ago, i was looking at files and after 5 minutes restarted and didnt start up again properly.

What should i do to make it turn on??

I'm new here but I'll try to help. Can you clarify - you had a virus. Has it been removed & if so, how. You mention a continuos tone, When does this happen ?? do you get any messages on the screen ? does the screen actually come on ( light goes green ? ). Need a lot more ( clearer ) info to help, but based on my interpretation of your post you may have a drive failure.

there is no pic on screen, no light , nothing, it wont turn on, or even boot so i cant remove the virus

Does the machine make any sound when you try to switch it on. Fan noise ? anything ?

Again, sorry for the delay.

You appear to be suffering some level of component failure.

With the system unplugged, disconnect the hard drive ( power & data cables ). re-plug the machine & power it. Then see if you get more than fan noise i.e. beeps or screen display.

If you do, then the inference is drive failure & you will need to get it replaced or repaired. On the other-hand, if you still get no sounds other than fan noise then it's time for a trip to your local repair shop. There would be too many variables to perform a remote diagnosis.
