Hey,
My PC is an F-S Scaleo Xi 2660, quad-core
GFX card: Nvidea GeForce 9800GTX
If more specific hardware mentionings are needed please ask. Hardware is not a year old ...
Currently when playing World of Warcraft my PC just randomly shuts down, no faultcodes or doing anything out of the ordinary, sometimes even just at the logon screen.
I've deleted my WTF, WDB and cache folders and repaired the game as requested by Blizzard with no result.
I've checked the loggfiles and the only thing it gives me is a fault on WMI
Cleanlyness of the system is done (dust and virus checks)
I've tried to make my system overload but i couldn't, it could perfectly run all applications without any interruptions, this is what i tried:
Played 4 video's with 4 different players, started another game called pangya, and another game called prince of persia, made a transfer of 2gb to my other partition and loaded a few other programs, so i was really sure stress was being made on the system. Nothing happened, PC just runs smooth.
My question is now, could the reason for my PC being shut down have anything to do with my GFX driver not being up to date, or something wrong with the PSU?
Can anyone point me in the wright direction of what else can be done?
