[H] Wlan Driver Installation

I just formatted my Fujitsu Siemens SCALEO H computer and reinstalled windows XP. But the Wlan network driver is missing, so I cant access my wireless internet, so I went to Fujitsu's home page and installed the right driver. It was a zipped file that contained a single folder named d1705. In this folder there are quite alot of files and none of them seems to help me with the installation.

What I need to know is: How do I install the files in the folder to the computer?

It contains a .sys file named SiS163u , if I have to move it to another folder, then which?

I need help, It would be great with step-by-step instructions on the installation of this driver...

Thank you very much for your answer, but it did not work for me.

I opened the device manager and tryed to update all network cards, but they all said that they either did not find any useful drivers or it already used a better update or something like that... What to do?

Do anyone know what the wlan network card is named in the device manager? Should I maybe roll it back or uninstall it? Before I do so, I must atleast know which one of the network cards it is... One is called
1394- Networkcard, one is: GlobeTrotter HSxPA - Network Interface, and the last one is: Sesam Virtual Adapter. I think one of them is the Mobile Network I am using at the moment, and I don't want to uninstall that one or anything, so please help me... I now know the GlobeTrotter HSxPA network card is the Mobile Network...

Any suggestions would be, so please reply! Thank you very much guys =)

Hi,

if your Scaleo H has really a D1705 WLAN inside (only optional), than you have an unknown device in Device Manager. For this device you should install the driver.

Just a hint: HSDPA is not the same like WLAN.

Hello everybody,

I have an Amilo La1703. I can't use the wireless connection because i can't install the WLAN drivers. I looked in device manager but i didn't find any question mark related to WLAN adapter. I don't know why it doesn't find any WLAN adapter (see the picture). What should i do?



In network adapters i have only the Ethernet adapter....
