[E] Region free DVD

How do I make my SCALEO E Multimedia Center region free, so that I can switch between my DVDs from region 2 and 4 as many times as I like?

Currently, the region is frozen at region 2 because I switched the 5 times, which seems to be the maximum.

Firstly you will need to find the exact make and model of DVD drive installed in your scaleo.
You should be able to find this in control panel > system > devices
then expand disk drives and find the info about your dvd drive there.

Then armed with this information you will have to go an have a hunt around on this forum:

They used to have a big list of drives and firmware but this is down at the moment, but with some looking and reading of that site you should be able to find an RPC1 firmware (region free) for your dvd drive and instructions on how to flash your drive.
Be very carefull as you can kill the DVD drive if you mess up.

Once this is done you then need to install something like DVD genie to reset the region locks built into windows.

Unlimited region changes.
