[Scaleo P] Re- installing Windoze xp on scaleo p

Hi F-S

I want to re-install Windows xp on my scaleo p.
I have done this before, but last time i needed the "driver and utilities" cd, and after I had completely reinstalled XP, I couldn't watch DVDs and other movies (both visual and sound didn't work).

So i was thinking, because I don't have that driver and utilities cd, if You could send another one to me by mail. I would also like to know, how I avoid that problem with the video thing...

Windows Media Player should usually download codecs automatically. But it fails often in practice.
You miss codecs, because you, probably, did not re-install some DVD player, which often comes as OEM software and has MPEG2 codecs in the pack.

Try download some codeck pack and install it. Personally I prefer K-Lite codec pack. You could download it at http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_L ... c_Pack.htm or search in Google.

PS Just turn off the option, which installs video player, there. Because, you don't want to use a legacy Media Player, I guess.
