Hi

You must install divers from hauppauge, but not MCE drivers...got HVR-1300 drivers:
http://www.hauppauge.fr/pages/support/s ... -1300.html
(I think that franch or Us drivers are same)

ok, maybe this is the solution, I'll try these drivers from hauppauge UK.

But then what are the MCE drivers intended for ?

Drivers MCE

Hello

I think that the MCE divers are "light" divers, only bluid for MCE, just for watch TV, but no for recorded or anything.

I tried XP drivers and stoping MCE services and NO results.

I'm really dissapointed and frustrated.

My only way out is to format and reinstall ???

Could be a problem with the Realtek HDA audio board drivers?

The only audio devices that appears in control panel are the one from the HDA board.

I have a critical patch (KB) for High definition Audio from MS already installed from factory? Any ideas?

Hello

You must uninstall original drivers Hauppauge (BDA drivers) who come with your Scaleo.
Run HWCLEAR (software hauppauge)
and réinstall drivers hauppauge for HVR 1300 (see on hauppauge web site)
I has works fine for me (sur, make net stop for services MCE)
Do not format....It's not relly necessary.

I hope help you.

Sorry to appear thick, but is there an answer to the last post. I simply want to output via VGA what goes in on Aux scart. Thanks for any help.

Following on, might part of my problem be that I have a problem device - "multimedia video controller". I don't know what device this is and what drivers to load. Help?

Turns out to be MSI vdeo capture that cannot start? I didn't know I had anything like that.
