Hi, first of all, I haven't worked much with fujitsu storage tanks and I'm not a professional. But one of the Raid 5 group seagate 600gb 10k rpm 2.5 inch disks was giving the broken sign. When I replace it with a seagate with the same specifications, I get an unsupported warning, why could this be?

Thank you for contacting us.

Please, be informed that disks used in Fujitsu storages, have specific firmware, adapted for continuous work. No other FWs allowed.

Therefore, if you install regular disk, even if it has the same model, disk will be marked as unsupported and can't be used.

To replace failed disk you need to buy new one from authorized Fujitsu reseller. You can do that by accessing the following page: https://apps.ts.fujitsu.com/ecosystem/p ... earch.aspx
