dx100 maintenance mode

i need to remove the good drive from the array
for this i need to put the storage in maintenance mode
have a question:
the storage while in the maintenance mode will not detach all volumes but it will disable only the alert for all storage components ?

Hello

Maintenance Mode doesn't disable components, but it is necessary for maintenance activities (mainly - replacement faulty parts). Why should a good drive need to be removed... Please note, that it can contain data (it can be a member of the RAID group)!

I have another Fujitsu disk drive that needs to be tested, but there is no free disk slot in the storage
anyway, there is a hotswap drive and I think nothing will happen to the data
