Eternus DX200 S4 Volume Access ISCSI

Postby FujiMau » Wed Jun 20, 2018 16:45

Hello,

I am configuring a DX200S4. I created a test volume of 500GB. I am actually testing both CM redundancy in accessing the volume.

I have configured the path via ISCSI going on two redundant switches. My server is on ESXi 6.5 having two NIC. Each NIC is on a seperate VSWITCH configured for ISCSI.

Setting are as follows:
CM0_CA0_P0 -->SWA
CM1_CA0_P0 -->SWB

VNIC0-->SWA
VNIC5-->SWB

Problem:
When i remove CM0 cable i can still access the datastore on VMWare. But as soon as i plug in CM0 cable and remove CM1 cable, i cannot access the datastore. As a UAT test i am not getting redundancy.

Can i have assistance please?

Insufficient information provided, IMHO...

Please follow configuration guides like ETERNUS DX, ETERNUS AF Configuration Guide -Server Connection- (iSCSI) ETERNUS DX S4/S3/AF/DX200F and FUJITSU Storage ETERNUS DX, ETERNUS AF Configuration Guide -Server Connection- (iSCSI) for VMware ESX, esp. regarding IP network provisioning and sharing/separation.

Hope this helps as assistance...
