Problems with MIB

Postby christianmolecki » Tue Apr 01, 2014 7:57

Hello everyone,

I want to monitor the Eternus DX80 S2 with the monitor application Paessler PRTG.
I enabled SNMP on the Eternus and imported the MIB file into PRTG.

Unfortunately, there are to much information, for PRTG, in the MIB file.
There is a possebility to select the entries in the file, partically.

Now the problem:
In the MIB file are encrypted names like: fjdary cm, fjdary de, fjdary ce, etc. or OIDs: 1.3.6.1.4.1.211........

Is there a document or explanation available, there appears which part of the Eternus is behind the names/OID?

best regards

I doubt very much there is a document that describes it - but there should be at least some clues in the comments in the MIB file itself

Typically abbreviations like CM, DE, CE are for Controller Module, Drive Enclosure and Controller Enclosure

Thank you Davie.

The MIB file has 6831 lines. Easy Job^^
