Problem with link connection to Ethernus DX80S2

Postby Keiishi » Tue Feb 18, 2014 11:15

Hello,

I have problem with connections between my Ethernus DX80S2 and w2k8.

I have configured two raids groups, with on i configured 5 disks, all disk are put into one lun group

I connected that group to my HA w2k8 cluster enviroments. The iscsi discs are set as cluster shared. So all cluster host's see theme at the same time.

Now the bug.

After I expanded one of disks by 200 Gb, I get error message in windows event log.

"Cluster Shared Volume 'Volume1' ('xxx') is no longer available on this node because of 'STATUS_MEDIA_WRITE_PROTECTED(c00000a2)'. All I/O will temporarily be queued until a path to the volume is reestablished."

The error multiply by every shared volume that i have connected. By ethernus there are no error events.

Have anyone of you meets such error ?

One of most dreadfully thing that occured after this error, was partition table data lost on one of volumes ( happily i could restore it :) )

If anyone have any sugestion how to solve that problem, i would gladly check that answer.

Thanks in advance for any advices.

Best regards
Keiishi
