DX80 S2 - User management

Hi to all,
how can i access to user management with f.ce login? we lost root password but i could not find a way to reset it. Either webgui and CLI could not offer option to do operation on user account.
Any suggestion? am i missing anything?

It should be in the "Action" menu off the "System" page

Hi Enrico,

user account don't have privileges to reset root password, your are correct just only f.ce account that able to reset root password, you need to ask Fujitsu Engineer about f.ce password.

i also have the same trouble, i forgot root password. and i try to find many document but do not help finally i got one link where they mention Fujitsu have two default account root and f.ce where user: root, password: "root" and user: f.ce, password: "<check code><serial-no. of DX>"

but i don't know how to find serial no. where i try all serial no attach to storage but not correct.

any one know how to get the serial number?

Hi all,

The f.ce account doesn't have "User management" rights for that. The right way of resetting the lost password of root user is to open a SR (service request) at Fujitsu Support. And they will send to you a OTP (one-time password) along with a one-time user account. You will login to WEBUI of ETERNUS DX and could do "Initialize users" under User Management menu. This will rest all factory defauls passwords to builtin users (root and f.ce)
