I have a problem with a LT20 S2 SAS tape library... The story goes like this:
1. there was a TX08 installed at site and used a primergy rx100 to backup data using Arcserve backup... everything worked well...
2. TX08 SCSI was replaced by LT20 S2 SAS... Controller and cable were exchanged too...
3. Test backup went fine... but... no backup after that would go smoothly... always reported something like "could not find proper tape"...
After few times I discovered that after backup job is done no tape was ejected from drive... and tape software was not "aware" of that...
CA job setting was set to: use any tape, overwrite content, eject tape after job... but tape would not be ejected, and, as I said, CA was not aware of that...
If I would move tape from the drive manually using front panel on LT20S2 next job would go fine... but, again, no job after it...
I've updated Tape firmware to latest one U64B (or something like this, LTO4 SAS HP) and library firmware was already 1.83 (latest one at the moment)....
Any tips how to make LT20S2 eject tape as TX08 used to do it?
