Storagebird 35EV840 not connecting

The above product is less than 1 year old, but I cannot remember where I bought it. It is not listed as an option for local support on the Fugitsu website.

The only time I have been able to use it, was recognised by the computer, and seemed to download files correctly. Since then, I have plugged it in on several occassions, and it never shows as a device on "My Computer". It seems to have power to the unit, as it shows a blue glow.

I have it on a desktop, running Windows XP (the machine that did recognise it once).
I have also tried it on an HP Notebook, running Windows 7. It has never been recognised.
I have tried using a different USB cable, but it is still not recognised.

What is wrong, please?

This Storage forum is meant for Enterprise Storage systems such as FibreCAT and ETERNUS. If you look at the forums' index you will see that Storagebird is listed under Accessories.

However, I would suggest the first place to look is under Device Manager - is the device being recognised and does it have a valid driver. Next would be to look at Disk Manager, to see what it says.
