ETERNUS DX100 S3-restore factory default

Postby freddyf7 » Sat Aug 17, 2024 14:13

Hi Fujitsu team,

We have an ETERNUS DX 100 S3 and are attempting to initialize the device and disks to zero. After using the "Initialize BUD" option from the utility menu and rebooting, we're unable to delete the three volumes and three RAID groups that have been created.

We're encountering the following error when trying to delete a volume: "The specified volumes have already been mapped. They cannot be deleted."

Both controllers are in maintenance mode, and we suspect a problem with the NAS engine that cannot be recovered.

Our goal is to completely restore the system to its default state, including data erasure.
P.S : I have attached images in my other topic :https://forum.ts.fujitsu.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=102&t=49788&p=157770&hilit=dx100#p157770

Freddy

Hi,

Thank you for your prompt response. I have done all steps except step 13. :(
I have tried to "Add Channel Adapter Port" but encountered with following error :
"The storage is not a 1 port CA model. Please export the log, and contact Customer Support."

I do not remember if we had any license code for this appliance.
Would you please help me on this case?
with following links i have prepared some screenshots of WEB GUI and device log.
