Primergy TX2550 - CP400i SAS Controller - Cant read Kingston SSD

Postby Arturs9 » Fri Jan 29, 2021 17:25

Hello together,

we have an Primergy TX2550 and we using the CP400i SAS Controller.

We bought two brand new Kingston 960G DC1000M U.2 SAS SSD´s.

If we plug them into the Server, the Server can not detect them. Not in BIOS, nowhere. On the Tray the Green and the Orange Light are shining for that drives constantly.

First i thought its maybe an problem with the SAS Controller but we bought another SAS Drive from Samsung PM1643 . We connect them and the Server directly could detect them.

Anyone have a idea why no one of the two Kingstons can get detected?

Hello! :)

Fujitsu Support does not support any devices not released to servers or any servers with not released components.

Kingston SSDs are not tested with Fujitsu RAID/HBA Controllers. Due to that reason, we cannot tell you what is the reason for this behavior.

We advise you to buy released SSDs and use them.

Have a great day,
