Upgrading RAID 1 array on Primergy RX1330 M1

Postby dumonster » Fri Jan 22, 2021 13:49

Good afternoon,

I currently have two RAID 1 arrays on this machine. One of them is getting full so I'm looking to upgrade the HDDs to larger ones.

I've been looking around on an official procedure to do so but no luck; all the info I found was regarding replacing a faulty drive.

From what I could gather around, I should be able to replace one of the drives with the new one, wait for the array to rebuild, replace the other, wait for the array to rebuild and then expand the array size.

Essentially, I'm basically trying to find if anyone has done this and has any tips or, if I'm wrong, some sort of pointing in the right direction.

Thanks!

Hello!

Please check your e-mail to see the related document for this case.
We advise you to follow the steps that are described but he would suggest you doing a backup of the data.

Thank you,
