ServerView RAID manager amService process consumes a lot of CPU

Postby Labsy » Thu Jan 12, 2017 22:23

Hi,

I have found on two servers (one Win 2008R2 and another 2012R2) that ServerView RAID Manager process named amService.exe consumes a lot of CPU. A lot means 18-25% constantly 24/7, which is a real performance killer.

I tried also to uninstall ServerView RAID Management, but when I do this, then another service SrvCtrl.exe begins consuming 18-25% CPU!!?? I do not understand.

Any idea what to do?
Both servers are plain install, no virtualisation.
