Teaming 4Port Emulex OCI14000 on a Primergy RX2540 M1

Postby dio » Mon Apr 04, 2016 15:28

Hello all,

I've got a Primergy RX2540 M1 and I wanted to make a network team with 4port Emulex OCI14000, but I can't find the option.

Can some one give me clue where to configure it?

Thank you.

Sorry for asking, but do you think you completely understood what "Teaming" actually means, and what is it exactly that you want to achieve?

Basically, "Teaming" is implemented as a function of a driver, not of the physical hardware NICs. In that case, more details of your environment would appear to be required, like OS, applications, ...

Then, the "other ends" of the four network cables probably need to be plugged "somewhere". This entity where you plug those cables also needs to be aware (and capable) of handling related requests coming in through multiple connectors...

Thank you for your answer.

I know its a driver feature, that why I ask where it is, because the Emulex software does not provide that like Intel Driver, for instance.

But just found that the Windows 2012R2 provides Teaming configuration it self.

Thanks.
