Serverview Operations Manager CAS Login Service broken

Hi,

we configured our RMCs and Serverview RAIDManager to use CAS Login from Serverview Operations Manager. This worked perfect in the past. ServerView Operations Manager 7.00.05 is the last working version. All verions coming out after this release have broken CAS Login.

in ServerView Operations Manager > Version 7.00.05 the Jboss server.log gets flooded with entries like 21:37:02,889 INFO [org.jasig.cas.CentralAuthenticationServiceImpl] (http--0_0_0_0_0_0_0_0-3170-4) Granted service ticket .... and the webbrowser stops with redirect loop errors.

So something gets wrong here. Even if we make a clean install with Versions > 7.00.05 the issue appear.

Can someone reproduce this or give a hint what to do to get this fixed?

Hi UCLA,

in the download portal <http://support.ts.fujitsu.com/download/> you can find a new RAID Manager version (6.2.6). Try this, perhaps this will fix your problem.

Hi Aura,

this will not fix the issue. The issue is still present also on RMC. Serverview Operations Manager is installed on Windows 2012 R2 Server. So currently we have can not update to the latest ServerView Operations Manager

UCLA,

Which RAID Manager version do you have installed? You need the newest RAID Manager (6.2.6) not the Operation Manager for this feature.

Then type https://<your server>:3173 in your browser URL and configure the CAS connection in RAID Manager (see Online Help or Manual). There are also some test functions to check the connection/configuration.

nope same error. As I mentioned the CAS Service is the issue not the Raid Manager. And the CAS Service is provided by the Operations Manager. And the CAS Service also fails with all our RMC Boards.

Hi SVOM and/or RAID Manager user,

I have heard that SVOM 7.11.07 works fine with RAID Manager over CAS login.
