Eternus DX100 S3 Maintenance mode missing

Just got a new DX100 and decided to apply firmware update "V10L20-6000 --> V10L20-7000" right away. But where is my maintenance mode described in the instructions?

Under System-> . I only got the following actions:

Target: 0
Initial Setup
Change User Password
Set SSH Public Key

And under Components -> . I got no actions at all:

9.4 Start of Maintenance Work
1) Start the maintenance work to keep the system in operation mode. Click "System" at
Navigation, then click "Start/End Maintenance" at Action. Then click "Start" button. (Figure
9-13)
In confirmation screen, click "OK" button.

2) Click "Component" at Navigation. Check if the Operation Mode is "Maintenance Mode" in the
System Information window and "Maintenance Mode" icon is displayed at Header. (Figure

You'd probably get more replies if you posted this the storage sub forum rather than servers but here goes ...

To enter maintenance mode you need to be a maintenance user. Despite the name "root" isn't an all-powerful user on ETERNUS

You need to login as the maintenance user f.ce - or use root to create a maintenance user.

Then you will be able to do maintenance
