Security exception for JWS video redirection

Postby Geziefer » Thu Jul 17, 2014 8:03

When starting the Video Redirection (JWS) of the iRMC for one server, I receive the following exception:

Code: Select all

java.lang.SecurityException: Missing required Permissions manifest attribute in main jar: http://x.x.x.x/avr_iRMC_S2.jar
   at com.sun.deploy.security.DeployManifestChecker.verifyMainJar(Unknown Source)
   at com.sun.deploy.security.DeployManifestChecker.verifyMainJar(Unknown Source)
   at com.sun.javaws.Launcher.doLaunchApp(Unknown Source)
   at com.sun.javaws.Launcher.run(Unknown Source)
   at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:745)

The server is a PRIMERGY RX300 S6, the console has the following firmware: 5.63A (Base: V3.10A8P2)

The same works with a similar server with a newer firmware (5.75A (Base: V3.10A8P2))

So while it may be advisable to do an upgrade - what puzzles me is the fact that I used the very same server often before and never had that problem. Could it be connected to a specific java version used for the jnlp execution which may have changed?
