TX2540M1 RAID Card

Have tried to install Server 2022 on TX2540M1 & ServerView complains of depracated hardware, the MegaRAID card. Server will install but I get BSOD & storpoint.sys error.

I assume the MegaRAID card is the issue. Can I upgrade to a CP400i card to get round this issue?

Probably yes, * IF * the nameless currently mounted RAID controller is the cause of the issues.

CP400i is supported in M5 with Server 2022, and is supported for TX2540M1 as well.

Nevertheless, Windows Server 2022 is NOT SUPPORTED on M1 systems.

Swapped out old D3116 SAS card with CP400i, had to change the cable as well.

Manually updated the mainboard BIOS & CP400i firmware, ServerView complained that Server 2022 was not supported but it did attempt to install.

Booted into Server 2022 & ran setup again & all is working. ServerView did not install all the mainboard drivers so this was done manually.

DeskUpdate won't work, says OS is not supported.

Apart from that it works!
