Fujitsu Pro9 Display docking - settings not remembered by Windows 10

Postby John.nl » Wed Jan 05, 2022 10:44

We have 200 Windows 10 HP Elitebook 850 G8 connected by usb-c with 200 Fujitsu Pro9 Display dockingstations. Each dockingstation has 2 monitors connected. All available patches & firmware are applied.
A new user must configure Windows 10 for using the monitors (in our situation: extend the display, not duplicate).

Problem is that if the user changes to another dockingstation (flex working), this configuration has to be done again. Once the configuration has been done for an individual dockingstation it will be remembered only for that dockingstation.

How can we change this to a situation the displaysettings are right configured for all dockingstations?

Hi there :)

This should be configured through the roaming profile option within WIN server, have you contacted Microsoft regarding this?

If not, we encourage you to reach to them as this is not a hardware problem but a matter of configuration and Infrastructure Management.

Kind regards,

Forum Team.

Thx voor you're reaction!

Actually we expect, we fixed the issue by using DockManagementTool.exe (and a couple of configuration files made by this tool):

And those settings moves indeed in the roaming profile but every dockingstation has it's own ID so whithout using the DockManagementTool we have to configure display settings on every configuration.
