Half a year ago I bought a<BR>Scaleo P C 293 0 512MB, so its a recent modell. Now I tried out to install several linux verions (suse9.3, suse 10, and Knoppix 4.0 Life-CD). I always have the problem, that the onboard-soundcard doesn't function. WinXP says it`s a "Realtec AC-97". Linux detects it as an "ATI AC-97", but it doesn't fuction in any way under Linux.<BR>Is there a special device driver I must integrate, or can it be fixed by using special options. Due to the fact, Fujitsu-Siemens became cooperation partner of Suse, I hope to get some suupport here.<BR>PLS adivce ...<P>Vor einem halben Jahr habe ich den Scaleo P C 293 0 512MB gekauft, der somit noch recht aktuell ist. Nun habe ich probiert Linux zu installieren (Suse 9.3, Suse 10 , Knoppix 4.0 Life-CD), habe aber immer dasselbe Problem mit der onboard-Soundkarte. Unter XP wird sie als Realtec AC-97 angezeigt, unter Linux als ATI AC-97 erkannt. Unter Linux funktioniert sie aber nicht. Muß ich einen neuen Treiber einbinden, oder muß ich spezielle Optionen anweden ? Da Fujitsu-Siemens auch Suse Cooperations Partner ist, sollte es hierfür doch eine Lösung geben. Ich hoffe sehr es kann mir hier jemand weiterhelfen.
