Re: RAID5 and RAID0

Hi hjazem.
There's a lot to say about RAID levels.
Did you already have a look on the internet?
A search for "RAID" in google should give enough info.
I've found one to start with. http...

Re: problem with configaring the RAID on TX 300

Hi there.
First of all some questions.
Which serverstart CD are you using?
Is Host RAID enabled?
Probably silent boot is enabled on the server therefore you'll see a Fujitsu Siemens Computers logo during boot.
If you press CTRL-A (once or twice) during this period you should be able to a...

Re: Primergy TX200 RAID on existing system

Hi Kari.
Are you sure? I can find some info about OCE (Online Capacity Expansion)in the documentation but nothing about RLM. (We're still talking about the ZCR 2010s do we?) RLM is only suitable for the 2200s and the 2120s according to the info you've send.
Best regards.
Data.

Re: Primergy TX200 RAID on existing system

Hi Kari,
According to my knowledge, the Adaptec 2010s does not have the RLM (RAID Level Migration) functionality, so it's not possible to migrate to RAID 1 without DATA loss.
Regards.
Data.
Re: Primergy RX300 SCSI Select utility

Hi there.
Possibly you can't see the <CTRL A> option because the server is configured to boot in "Quiet mode" at this moment.
To disable this, enter the BIOS, select BOOT options and disable Quiet Boot.
After this you should see the option <CTRL A> during boot.
Best regards.
...

Re: TX150 serverstart

Hi there,
I'm wondering, you're trying to create a bootable diskette to install your server.
But why should you do this? (apart from the possibility to do so).
The ServerStart CD is bootable itself and guides you through the whole installation.
The diskette which needs to be created is n...
