I don't think THINK the speed matters. The problem could be if you have a SATA 1 drive, now days its difficult to get hold of SATA 1, most drives are SATA 2. Check the manual, from downloads page. I THINK Scaleo P has a socket 428 cpu. But check using something like CPU-Z Then something from Zalman, or Akasa for an intel socket 428. Fn + F7 turns the webcam on.

Blue LED webcam is on

If no joy, look under device manager to see if the webcam is there. If not, you need the drivers

How about cleaning the dust from the fan?
