Re: [V5505] Annoying beep when power is connected

@nCounTr I've used PBE 2.2.0.1 (Phoenix Bios Editor) to decompress the bios file and "IDA Pro" to disassemble the MISER0.ROM. But it is to hard to make a deference in the disassembled code between non esential data and comands. PS. I asume you've got warned by the mods for your PS writen i...

Re: Don't buy fujitsu before you see these pictures!

I own V5505 and it has been working allmost 24/7 for 11 months.
I haven't been having any problems so far, except for the drivers that FSC has provided which are ancient.
So I have to search for the latest drivers from the manufacturers sites.

Re: [U9200] maximum video memory - only 64MB?

I have V5505 with GM965 chipet and Intel GMA X3100....
I'm not shure if the problem appears only at m9400, but at my v5505 the GPU alocates memory normally.
Here is what Everest says:

Re: [v5505] HDD bad sectors

You cant install XP or format the drive thru XP installation disk unless you disable AHCI support from the bios settings. Once you install XP and all the drivers, enable AHCI again. Or.... You can also download "32-bit Floppy Configuration Utility for Intel® Matrix Storage Manager" from in...

Re: [V5535] Battery does not charge after shutdown...

It isn't a BIOS issue...!!! I don't think that the miser0.rom (bios module for power management) can get corupted by it self and not afecting anythink else. Couse I asume when @big_al_1983 both the laptop his battery was charging well. It is most likely it is a hardware issue with the adapter or the...

You can try the BIOS recovery procedures:

If it doesnt works than it is in your best interest to take it to FSC repair center.

Re: [v5535] slot behind battery

There is a SIM slot on my V5505 behind the battery for the UMTS module, but it is unused/empty/no contacts/no UMTS module.
I'm not shure if I can add UMTS on my V5505.

Re: Urgent help please - dead Esprimo!

Have you reset the CMOS ?
Remove the battery and the power cord, hold down the power key for a sec.
Put back the battery/power cord and turn it on.
Once your computer turns on enter BIOS setup, load defults, save and exit.
