Had a quick look on the net. The memory you need is DDR PC2700 OR PC3200 unbuffered non EEC. Go to the crucial site use thier memory advisor, or use thier system scan. The mobo you have has two slots with a maximum of 1gb each slot.

If its a problem with the computer then I have no ideas. But if you are running Vista, then slow file transfer is a known problem with Vista. Apparently it will get fixed in Vista sp1, which is due middle of March. That’s all I can think of, not much help I know....

Ok, rundll32.exe is a process which executes DLL’s [dynamic link libraries], and places their libraries into memory. It looks like you have a corrupted rundll32.exe windows file. I only know this as I spent this afternoon goggling rundll32.exe. Yep sounds complete gibberish to me too. I could not se...

A quick google for your monitor, says it's a TFT 21" widescreen. If so they say the maximun resolution is 1680x1050 Best look at the manual. TFT have a native resolution, which is the best quality setting. Any deviating from this, can result in loss of quality.... Wow  2:00am in the morn...

In XP Right click on desktop, click on properties. Click on settings tab, you can change your screen resolution here. Use your monitor manual as a guide to what it should be. Click the advanced button and go to monitor. Should be 60 Hz, only change if your monitor manual says it’s something else. Vi...

Thanks for the look tenchiten.

I've got a mind that you've been installing Windows on top of it's self without formating. But for your problem a format before install is esential.

If this does not cure it, then I don't know!

Usually I Google any error signs, Unknown hard error/systemroot/system32/ntdll.dll brings up lots. So I will wade through it all. It’s something to do with a corrupt file. Check your recovery disk is ok, clean it if you can. The problem could lie with your DVD rom or the Ide cable. Try reinstalling ...

When you boot from the CD you will be asked to hit any key to boot from cd. Then after a while you should have a blue screen with white lettering. This is the start of windows install...where abouts is it failing

It sounds most likely that it is your hard drive. You will need a new HDD. If you are under warranty it’s time to call customer service. If it’s out of warranty then if you are not confidant in fitting a new HDD, then you will have to get someone to do it. Plenty of firms advertise in the computer m...

Having to go into the bios is to set the boot sequence, so the computer can boot from a DVD or CD. Normal boot sequence is HDD, CD Rom, and Floppy. This needs to be changed to CD Rom, HDD, and floppy. Save on exiting the bios, make sure the recovery disk is in the CD Rom drive. As the computer start...

Just use your finger or a pen to spin the fan, thus fooling the bios into thinking the fan is working. I only had that problem with another make of fan, and I think it was a abit mobo..
