Re: [Pa 1538] Boot fail

Seems like you all got bitten by the nVidia bug! You can start your journey here: http://www.theinquirer.net/inquirer/news/378/1004378/why-nvidia-chips-defective This guy is always getting raged on by the nVidiots, but thanks to his reviews of this "Topic", I decided to go w/an ATI Part in...

Re: pa3553 updatin ati hd3470 driver

I'm kinda in the same boat as you, although I only have a HD2400 in my (Pi2550). In short, ATI/AMD will refuse to support most of there "Mobility" Line, on the grounds that it breaks there contractual agreements to the OEM's (In this case F-S), in so far that such "Systems" are s...

Re: [Pi1536] Restore XP to an Amilo pi 1536

Re: what the recovy does? have i lost everything?

I don't know if there's such a thing as a consumer grade HDD Recovery Software Package, but I think once the Partitions get blown, it pretty much game over, as you'd also have to rebuild the TOC Table (Table of Contents) as well. Basically your uncle formatted your HDD. Perhaps there's such a packag...

Re: [PI3540] Cam and mic problem

Stupid question time! Does the Pi 3540 even have a Camera?? Like I Said stupid question. But, if it did, why doesn't F-S provide a Driver for it then? Perhaps you could look into the Control Panel (Start-> Control Panel-> Device Manager), and give us the the Hardware ID. (NOTE YOU'LL LIKELY HAVE TO ...

Re: [PI3540] Cam and mic problem

Try to download he DiskUpdate Utility HERE: and see if that doesn't solve your problems.
This Program should be able to find all the Drivers you need and then download them from F-S.

Re: Upgrade graphics HD 2400?

Hi, I have a Fujitsu Siemens Esprimo Mobile v5545 laptop. It has an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2400(PCI Slot). Can I upgrade it to a faster video card, such as HD3650? I read that the PCI slot can tolerate a certain amount of heat, so if the video card is much faster than the one that is already instal...

That Key (The One to the Left of the "A" Key), ~hit it!!!~ Capslock is only Curse Control for cool on 4chan... Now assuming that you didn't post your question on the Device in question. Go to http://www.fujitsu-siemens.com/support/downloads.html and, either input your S/N (located under yo...

Re: problem with the video driver

It would help if you knew who was supplying the Graphics on your Laptop. (i.e. Intel ~not likely~ AMD, nVidia or VIA) I can't seem to locate this information using the F-S Driver Page. So until your able to locate that info it may be more difficult to give you an answer. You might find more info by:...

Re: [Pi 2550] Vista Home Premium: Wireless card problems

Yes I can confirm this as well, with the stock F-S Drivers I would experience a total failure of my Wi-Fi Link atleast Two, or more times a Day. At first I used to blame this on Vista, and perhaps in some was(s), there is still truth there, as these "Lock Outs" never happend under XP or sa...

Re: [PI 2540]

Hi, have you tried buttons combination Fn + F7 ?? Pasky Yes you need to actually (physically), enable your Webcam via the FN+F7 Key-combo, and if it's the first time you might have to wait a few seconds until Windows loads the Drivers up into memory. As the Webcam will not show up in the Device ..M...
