Re: Expanding current RAID5 Group on Eternus DX90 S2

RAID group expansion is what you need - find it under RAID group management in the Web GUI Check the Web GUI manual for further details but the biggest thing to note is to backup all your data on the RAID group before expansion. RAID expansion can take a LONG time, especially if you are adding 5 dis...

Re: PRIMERGY TX140 S2 BIOS update 2.14 failed !

First thing I would do is update the iRMC firmware. it is possible the iRMC is crashing and this would cause the fans to run fast, and also perhaps the updates to fail. To completely reset the iRMC you need to remove ALL power for 30 seconds, then plug in again and update the iRMC immediately If you...

Have you tried 32 bit version of Java? Although you may use 64 bit browser I think SVOM launches the 32-bit version...

According to the manual, X509 certificates are supported - google the manual filename irmc-s4-ug-en.pdf for further details

Re: Server 2012 R2 en TX1310 M1 RAID 1

Firstly you need to enable the RAID (on TX1310 it is disabled by default) - F2 BIOS > Advanced > Sata Configuration > Sata mode = RAID Then create your RAID1 in CTRL-M utility or RAID Manager from ServerView CD Then install - either use ServerView or native Windows install - but if you do native ins...

Re: DX60 problems

It may be that it won't let you delete them if the disks don't physically exist any more but usually when deleting things you have to delete in reverse order - ie RAID groups can't be deleted if volumes exist; volumes can't be deleted if they are in affinity groups .. so first of all remove affinity...

Re: Megaraid volume disappeared

Yes that should be the case - there is no non-volatile memory for the config to be stored in so the configuration should just be read back from the COD (config on disk)

Re: Megaraid volume disappeared

I have seen embedded MegaRAID volumes get "lost" on old Econels before (usually RAID1 though not RAID10) - and a solution that "sometimes" works is just to recreate the array and NOT initialize it, making the assumption that the data is still valid If you remember the configurati...

Re: Server View Raid for ESXi 5.5

You need to install SVRAID onto one of your virtual machines - and then "add" the ESXi host into RAID Manager using the command line interface for SVRAID So on the Windows VM, install RAID Manager and then from a command prompt cd\Program Files (x86)\Fujitsu\ServerView Suite\RAID Manager\b...

Re: Always reboot to BIOS

I have never seen this but my guess is that during reboot, the POST is detecting some sort of error which forces it into the BIOS - so the thing to do would be to determine what the error is (and fix it) - to do this you'd just have to watch the console screen during reboot to see what messages are ...

Re: Fujitsu RX1330 M1

The downloads are all available at http://support.ts.fujitsu.com/Download/ - there you will find listed a couple of chipset drivers, plus you probably also need the ServerView iRMC HighspeedTransferInterface (listed under Server management controller) Alternatively if you do your install with Server...

Re: IRMC access problems

What version of iRMC firmware?
There was a problem in early versions of firmware that iRMC could lock up - and only way to recover it was to fully disconnect all mains for 30 seconds.

Update iRMC firmware first and see if it still happens

Unfortunately you need to archive the data off and remake the RAID volumes with the new disks
