Bulldozer - are you in the UK?

There is no email support in the UK - and if you send to the German email address they generally assign the call to UK 2nd line support who will advise you the only support route in the UK is via the telephone help desk.

Even though it detects other USB devices OK, I would still remove all USB drivers from Device Manager and reboot to let Windows rediscover them.

BIOS post error 8541 is "Board: A, DIMM: 1B, Memory disabled"

Try retesting the slot from the system BIOS to re-enable it or to see if permanent errors are present.

This is more often than not a software not hardware issue. Check your volume controls to make sure you don't have volume sliders set down low or muted.<P>If you have external speakers make sure they are powered on
