Re: LSI Software RAID can not be configured! Rx200s7

Your description is confusing! You are talking as if you have a plug in PCI SAS controller, but talk also about the LSI Software embedded RAID. The software embedded RAID is the RAID controller on your motherboard - NOT the SAS card - so which is the OS installed on? If you have a SAS card installed...

Re: primergy tx150 s6 sas disk not detected

As I have said you need to ENABLE the option ROM for the PCI slot that you have the card in - this is under the ADVANCED tab in the F2 system BIOS

Alternatively you could just put the card in the recommended slot for the card and the correct slot will be already enabled by default :)

Re: primergy tx150 s6 sas disk not detected

You mean you can't get into the BIOS utility for the SAS card? CTRL-H?

You need to enable the option ROM for the PCI slot the card is fitted in. Also the onboard and plug in RAID don't always work well together. Onboard should be disabled when a card is fitted

Re: primergy tx150 s6 sas disk not detected

Which SAS RAID controller do you have fitted? Have you DISABLED the onboard SATA controller? Have you routed the cables from the disk backplane to the plug in SAS card instead of the onboard controller?

Re: Possible way to install OEM WS 2012 R2 to Hyper-v Server Core

Create your Virtual Machine with a legacy network adapter then install the VM using ServerView Installation manager DVD, specifying network share as status back media location

Re: RX1330M1

Even a UPS isn't guaranteed to help. You may protect again power fail but what if PSU fails? Or with redundant PSUs, a fault on power backplane?

Re: RX1330M1

The embedded MegaRAID has no cache on the motherboard, so no controller caching is possible. The disks themselves have cache within the disk (maybe 64Mb who knows...) but there is nothing, batteries or anything else that protects that cache in event of a power failure - so if you have power fail the...

Re: Install windows server 2012 r2 2xssd raid1

You need to use the correct RAID driver from http://support.ts.fujitsu.com/download

Then the installer will see the one logical volume instead of the two physical disks.

Or use the supplied ServerView Installation Manager which will supply the correct drivers for you

Re: Battery Not Present Status [Primergy CX 250 S2]

me@work is right - though in my experience it's much more likely that the battery backup just hasn't been ordered as it is an optional extra

Either way, check if you THINK you've ordered the battery backup - and if you haven't just disable the message (or seriously consider buying the backup option!)

Re: Primary RX300S8 Hanging at BIOS

You almost answered it yourself! It is almost certainly the iRMC that is hanging - which causes the reboot to hang, because the iRMC is responsible for rebooting the server! The RX300 S8 has an iRMC S4 and early versions of the firmware had a problem that caused it to slow down until it stopped comp...

Re: iRMC S3 factory reset

If you use the Server Configuration Utility (SCU) from the Windows Agent package, or the maintenance section of the ServerView CD, you can edit and/or add iRMC users from there
