Re: 2.5" drive bays

If you purchase the SSD from a Fujitsu reseller, then the disks normally come with a caddy.

Re: NOISE LEVEL CPU FAN PR RX100S7P QC-X E3-1220v2 3.1

This is a rack server - it was not designed for office use. The fact that you need to ask the question suggests that it is likely to be too noisy. :D

Re: Script SSH to shutdown DX80

I would save the script previously supplied in a file called shutdown.tcl On my system (32-bit Windows XP), Expect is installed in C:\Program Files\Expect-5.21\bin So to call the program from a Command Prompt window (aka DOS Window) on my PC, I type: C:\Program Files\Expect-5.21\bin\TclSh80.exe shut...

Re: Script SSH to shutdown DX80

To run the script you would need to install TCL Expect on your windows - see http://www.nist.gov/el/msid/expect.cfm. Instead of calling plink, you call the TCl Expect programming point it at the script (you would need to edit to reflect IP address and password). This effectivelt calls plink in a con...

Re: Script SSH to shutdown DX80

Are you trying to embed the DX command within the SSh command? e.g. ssh root@dx.sna.local shutdown -mode off This has always failed. However, you can script it using, for example 'expect' spawn telnet "dx.sna.local " expect "login:" send "root\r" expect "Password:&...

Re: SX80 firmware

Download the J200P50 firmware. You will find it contains J200P45 and J200P45. Read the included documentation. Basically you do two upgrades:
    J200P30 -> J200P45
    J200P45 -> J200P50

Re: SX80 firmware

Think ""FibreCAT SX1" is a one not an 'i'. You should be able to tell from the system's serial number what is is. Believe that the SX80 iSCSI serial starts with "YKCL". But simplest thing is probably go to MONITOR => Status => Advanced Settings => Host port Status. This shou...

Re: SX80 firmware

You say you are running J200P30. This appears to be an SX80 FC firmware rather than an SX80 iSCSI firmware. Can you confirm that this is an iSCSI unit?

Re: SX80 firmware

What it is suggesting is that you cannot upgrade direct from the older version of firmware. You'll have to check out the intermediate firmwares and work out the supported firmware upgrades needed to get all the way to the latest.

Re: Can not see the hard disks of Eternus DX80 S2 on the ser

Have you configured the LUN to be visible to to the server (LUN masking)?
If there is more than one controller, do you have connections from the server to both controllers?

Re: Storagebird 35EV840 not connecting

This Storage forum is meant for Enterprise Storage systems such as FibreCAT and ETERNUS. If you look at the forums' index you will see that Storagebird is listed under Accessories . However, I would suggest the first place to look is under Device Manager - is the device being recognised and does it ...

Re: Primergy X100 IRMC Problem

After you selected the ISO image - you did connect it?

If you have a firewall/NAT - you need to check what happens tothe remote storage port 5901? The connection, I believe, is outwards from the iRMC.

Re: Telnet to BMC on RX300 (S1)

I don't believe that it uses the default telnet port. You may need to add the port number (2307 or 3172 ?) to the telnet command.
